Current state programs include:
On-the-job training Ohio’s OJT program provides an incentive to hire dislocated workers (workers who are currently on unemployment or have exhausted their unemployment benefits). Ohio Workforce Guarantee The Ohio Workforce Guaranteeis a program that companies can use to ensure their workers are on the cutting edge of their industry. Managed by the Ohio Department of Development's Workforce and Talent Division, the Ohio Workforce Guarantee provides technical and financial assistance directly to employers to train their workers.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit The Work Opportunity Tax Credit programprovides Ohio employers with a federal tax credit when they hire individuals from 11 target groups of disadvantaged job seekers.
